- Capture traffic violation on dash camera, cell phone or digital camera
- Record/remember license plate number if it may be not visible on the video or image. If using dash camera it helps just to pronounce it loud
- Send it to Canadian Driver via Report Violation form
- Canadian Driver will format if necessary and upload it here with license plate number
- Traffic law violators will have a chance to have a video/picture removed (or just a license plate) from Canadian Driver in case they are ready to support Canadian drivers community for safe roads and responsible driving. Please use Contact form to inquire about removal of materials
- The “Canadian Driver Support Amount” – CDSA – will be determined individually for each violation and may be comparable to potential impact on auto insurance premium and traffic tickets in case if it was caught by police
- The “Canadian Driver Support Amount” (CDSA) will be split and used in the following way in case violators will pay:
- 40% will go to the spectator who recorded traffic or parking violation and reported it
- 30% will go to charity (with receipt posted here)
- 30% will go to Canadian Driver for development and improvement of this resource
- Insurance companies may find materials faster than violators and act as they wish. Hopefully increasing premiums for violators and reducing for drivers with clean driving history
- If violator pays CDSA, Canadian Driver will contact person who reported violation to send applicable portion of CDSA
